Art has followed me through many years and many phases. Some periods have been full of painting, others full of experiences that have shaped my expression and given me new ways of seeing the world. I have been working as an artist since the early 2000s, starting as a student with two professional artists who taught me to see — not just paint. Over the years, I have shown my work in many exhibitions.

I work with layers upon layers of transparent colors, without visible brushstrokes. Light is always the protagonist — what carries the mood, depth, and silence in each work. Nature's forms, dreams, and inner landscapes meet in an expression that invites calm, presence, and wonder.

My working process is slow and alive. A painting can sit “finished” for months, sometimes years, before I feel that something needs to be changed. As my own way of seeing shifts, the painting shifts with it — as if the work and I continue a quiet conversation over time.

I paint both on large canvases and in intimate works on paper, and each work is allowed to develop at its own pace. Some images are quiet and soft, others more charged and symbolic, but they all spring from the same source: a desire to create space to breathe a little deeper.

The name Artigliv is a combination of “artig” and “liv”, because my life is indeed rich in warmth, humor and good moments. Art is my way of gathering all this in colors, layers and light.
